KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 - Expanding their comprehensive line of premium motor oils, ExxonMobil's downstream affiliates in Malaysia - ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (EMMSB), Esso Malaysia Bhd (EMB) and ExxonMobil Borneo Sdn. Bhd. (EMBSB) - today announced the launch of three new lubricants under the Mobil Super range which is being introduced in Malaysia for the first time.

Present at the media briefing were Zarko Pavlovic, ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties Southeast Asia (SEA) Cluster Sales Manager and Abdul Rahman Rashid, Distributor Business Manager (Malaysia & Singapore).

Mobil Super is from the global family of premium passenger vehicle engine oils that provide superior protection and outstanding performance for vehicles under a wide range of driving conditions so that drivers can drive with full confidence.

The new lubricants comprise the premium semi-synthetic Mobil Super 2000 (10W40) and premium mineral Mobil Super 1000 (15W-40 & 10W30) which will appeal to Malaysian motorists who want to take exceptional care of their vehicles, who know what their engines need and who are looking for additional performance. All the Mobil Super products meet the American Petroleum Institute (API) SM rating, the highest rating for petrol engine lubricants in Malaysia and API CF rating for diesel-powered vehicles.

"Mobil Super products were specially developed for modern engines which operate under occasional high engine stress conditions," said Zarko.

“Mobil Super is especially good at beating the heat, eliminating wear and keeping the engine clean, ensuring efficient and optimal performance. These lubricants highlight ExxonMobil’s state-of-the-art technology in boosting performance and offering unparalleled protection for engines,” he added.

The new Mobil Super products replace the Mobil Super S Plus and Super XHP Plus, which are very popular amongst motorists in Malaysia.

Available at Esso and Mobil service stations, appointed distributors and 1,000 lube change centres and retailers throughout Malaysia, ExxonMobil expects the new range to be similarly well-received.

In conjunction with the launch of the Mobil Super products, ExxonMobil is planning a number of media and consumer activities, including roadshows for its retailers.
